Each child gets their own archive and can share the same circle or have a completely separate one.

When you sign up as a parent, you add a card at checkout and nothing is charged for 30 days. On day 30, your first payment of $99/year (plus $39/year for each additional child you have added) runs automatically, and your subscription then renews yearly until you cancel. If you cancel before day 30 from your billing page, nothing is charged; when the trial ends the archive becomes read-only, so everything already saved stays readable and exportable while new contributions pause. The free trial is for parents signing up for their own family. It does not apply to gift purchases, added children, or a gifted family continuing with its own subscription, and it is available once per family.

No. Gifts are paid by the giver at checkout — either a renewing annual gift or a single year paid once — and the family they cover pays nothing while the gift is active. The free trial is only for parents signing up for their own family.

Each additional child gets their own archive, milestones, and future delivery moments. When you add a child, you can choose to share the same circle or start a separate one. Most families will share a circle, but separate circles work for blended families, half siblings, or different grandparents.

Yes. Our Fable is private by design. The archive is intended for the parents who created it and the family experiences they choose to share. Archive content is not posted publicly or to social media by default, and families can export their content at any time.

Dispatches let parents send photos, videos, notes, or voice notes to their whole circle privately, without group chats or social media. They are included in every Our Fable subscription.

Cancellation makes the archive read-only: everything already saved remains available to read, export, and deliver, while new contributions pause until you reactivate. Cancellation does not automatically delete the archive. Account deletion is a separate action with a 30-day active-system retention window.
