Dispatches let parents send photos, videos, notes, or voice notes to their whole circle privately, without group chats or social media. They are included in every Our Fable subscription.

Cancellation makes the archive read-only: everything already saved remains available to read, export, and deliver, while new contributions pause until you reactivate. Cancellation does not automatically delete the archive. Account deletion is a separate action with a 30-day active-system retention window.

You receive a 14-day grace period before new contributions pause. If payment remains unresolved, the primary Archive Guardian is contacted automatically on Day 37 and the backup guardian on Day 51. From Day 51, every parent, co-parent, and guardian receives every remaining notice. The 30-day deletion queue begins on Day 60, with active-system deletion on Day 90 unless payment is restored. Contact does not grant access; a guardian can act only after the separate passkey-confirmed takeover grants full parent-level authority.

Yes. You can download every letter, voice note, photo, and video at any time. The data is yours, while the sealed-archive experience remains the part we protect.

No. Circle members receive a personal link, open their question, and respond. No account creation, no app download, and no password are required.

For newly created families, sealed memories are encrypted on the writer's device before upload, and passwords are verified with OPAQUE without being sent to Our Fable. Account, billing, recipient, timing, and other operational metadata remain server-readable. When an authorized parent starts a one-click delivery, end-to-end encryption ends for the selected items: Our Fable briefly handles the fresh delivery key to send or retry the email and erases the secret-bearing body after acceptance, terminal failure, or within 15 minutes. Content not selected for delivery remains sealed. Parents can also enable two-factor authentication.
