A private archive built for the child — by everyone who loves them.

Three features, working together to gather a childhood that would otherwise scatter and fade.

01 · The core

The Archive

Every loved one contributes memories to one private archive — and Our Fable does the asking, sending each person thoughtful questions automatically. What comes back is saved for the child and released at milestones across their life, into early adulthood.

The problemMemories live scattered across phones and people, and never reach the child they were meant for.

Question for Nana Rose

“What do you remember about the day Noah arrived?”

She can answer from a link — no app required.

02 · Keep everyone close

Dispatches

Send one update out to the child's loved ones — some or all of them — in a single go, instead of texting everyone one by one.

The problemKeeping a whole circle of family in the loop is repetitive work — so it quietly falls away.

03 · The weekly habit

Photo Roundup

A weekly nudge to pick a few photos and write a line on each — what it was, and why it mattered. One small bite instead of a massive undertaking.

The problemA camera roll of tens of thousands of images, undocumented — the details and the reasons forgotten.

Founder note · Why we built this

We’re Dave and Amanda. The people who loved our son most had stories, voices, and small memories we knew he might want someday — and none of it had a real place to go.

So we built one. Not a feed, not another scrapbook project. A calmer family record, kept for him until he’s ready.

Chapter 02Private by design

Built on trust. Designed to endure.

Sealed and private

Sealed letters are encrypted and stay closed until the day you chose. No public profile, no feed, no audience — a private alternative to posting childhood publicly.

Portable by default

The record belongs to your family and can leave with you. Nothing about Our Fable locks you in.

Built for continuity

Trusted devices, passkeys, authorized parents, and careful access controls help the record endure across years, devices, and family changes.

— Questions before starting —

Know what you’re starting. Keep it in the family.

Before you join, you can see the price, who can contribute, what stays private, and how your family can export the archive. After that, every memory belongs to the circle you choose.

Will my family need another app?

No. Circle members can answer from a simple private link with a letter, voice note, photo, or video.

What if my family doesn't participate?

We do the nudging. Thoughtful questions go out on a gentle schedule, and answering takes two minutes from a link — no account, no app, no homework.

Is anything public?

No public child profile, no social feed, and no searchable family page. You choose who is invited.

Is it too late to start?

No. An eleven-year-old's grandparents still hold every story. The best day to start was the day they were born; the second best is today.

What if Our Fable isn't around when they're grown?

Your archive is exportable at any time in standard formats. Archive Guardians can also help with continuity and eligible delivery if the family needs support. Export gives your family a practical path to keep its own copy instead of depending on one service alone.

Can we leave with our memories?

Yes. Your archive is exportable, including letters, photos, voice notes, and videos in standard formats.

Who owns the record?

Your family does. Our Fable is the private keeper, not the owner of your child’s memories.

Chapter 03Pricing

Simple pricing, before you start.

One plan, one private archive, everything included from day one.
